In early March 2025 we were asked by a landowner to create ponds, scrapes and planted banks on a 4.5 acre field. The soil varied from good clay (for ponds) through to gravel and sand.
We dug 13 ponds and seeded the banks of soil with wildflower, plus created 9 scrapes and hedgerow banks which we planted with willow cuttings from the existing hedges.
