With Nick now living much more locally, he wanted to get the charities name ‘out there’, and he kicked off in a big way with a pitch at the Devon County Show.
This meant a pre-show visit to do the set-up, and a first airing for one of the new marquees bought with monies received from Locality Budget Funding, and Cllr Saywell who supported our project with a £750 grant.
Nick & Annie had already spent time preparing an information board, using photos from the fields, alongside other images from rewilding projects that Nick had recently been involved in.
The stand looked good, and the new pull-up banners were very eye-catching.
The show ran for three days, with Andrew, Annie, Jo & Paul supporting Nick on different days, enabling him to spend time networking, and chatting with anyone and everyone who wanted to talk nature, biodiversity, rewilding and all things wildlife.
