Back Field
A series of ponds dug in the back field, many interconnected with ditches

With the series of ponds, and the established Old Pond, surrounded by Willows lower down the slope

The ponds soon filled up with rain water during and after digging
Barn Owl box
This was sited in the back field, with the hope of encouraging Barn Owls to breed.

The banks have been covered in dug out topsoil, to encourage regeneration
Laneside
Large areas of turf removal, which has been used to create banks
Smaller banks in front field
These are intended to create sheltered habitats, but have also resulted in ephemeral ponds
Kevin’s Bank at the top of Front Field
Again with an area where the turf has been removed to allow species other than grass to grow
Tree planting
Many trees have been planted on the created banks

A mixture of native trees, which will create additional hedgerow habitat
Kestrel box
Sited to look over the Front Field, and with various brash piles nearby.
Swallow shelter
We hope this construction will be used by roosting, and nesting Swallows
